Tanks & Habitats for turtles

Providing a good habitat for your turtles can be quite an enterprise. Your turtles will benefit from an outside enclosure, but you will probably need an indoors enclosure or some sorts as well, for the colder nights and days.

The most important thing is they need an enclosure. Keeping turtles solely in an aquarium like tank can very difficult. They need a very large tank. Depending on the specific species, tank size can be up to a few meters in length and width. Most turtles need both a dry land area and a wet shallow pool.
